Well, I will have to take credit for this one, the Advertiser have gotten in on the act.
And i noticed this in Grenfell Street this morning on the way to a meeting.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to pop in, but it is now on my list of Zep Stops. Last time I was in here, they made a good coffee. They have been around for quite some time, so I assume they still pull a good coffee.
Velo Precinct – Victoria Park
Stuart O’Grady’s new venture in Victoria Park is nearly ready.
Tour of Tobago
The 2015 Tobago International Cycling Classic is in the books! The final stage was a thriller that ended with a sprint to the finish. Celebrating a UCI 1.2 classification, Tobago welcomed over 300 cyclists from around the world for a 6 day event.
The wider event included six days of international cycling, three days of mountain bike races, two days of children’s races and the flagship Tour of Tobago race
This years Tour of Tobago was won by Adderlyn Cruz Colon (Dom Rep/Team Foundation).
This years most spectacular photo is:

Cant recall this at the Tour Village in Adelaide?
Here are some other photos from the Tour of Tobago facebook site, in no particular order.
UCI Road World Championships
Congratulations to Peter Sagan, this years world champion. A well deserved champion who has promised so much for so long, but has never quite achieved his potential. A bit like the Richmond Tigers, although Sagan has finally delivered.
And congrats to Bling om his second placing.
Cafe of the Week – Tell Henry
Kent Town is slowly becoming a haven for new and innovative cafes. There are by my reckoning at least 6 cafes that are worth visiting all in a 500m radius. The latest is a joint venture in an old warehouse on the Parade West.
“The coffee comes first and everything else is here to support that,” says Brad Bonar, the co-owner and operator of Tell Henry.
They use Melbourne based Industry Beans, each coffee using a double ristretto pour, rather than a single espresso pour (because, “you don’t get that bitterness,” says Brad).
My standard post ride brew is a double flat white regular size, not the mug the others go for, so when I popped into Henry’s, Brad politely advised they their standard coffees are double ristretto.
Tell Henry has on hand a specialised Mahlkonig grinder that can process many different roasts one after another without cross-contamination.
Being Canadian, Brad will also be heavily invested in the authenticity of the food offering at Tell Henry, which consist of bagels and pastries. The selection at this stage is still on the light side, but I’m looking forward to seeing how they grow their selection as they establish themselves.
Tell Henry share the warehouse with Rodeo, with the divider between the cafe and the Rodeo workspace being an open, very open, steel divider. A bit like a zoo, you can throw bananas through the divider to the wildlife.
